We have now purchased two systems from Stereoland. We worked with Bill Soderholm on both systems and are very happy with the process and the result. Bill came to our home and sat with us to talk about our goals for the system. He made constructive suggestions and took careful measures of the space and other considerations in our home. He then developed a proposal with three options and discussed those with us in person. Bill also worked directly with the cabinet contractor to make sure the cabinets would fit the system perfectly. And when the time came, Bill's team again came to the house and installed all the wiring and components and tutored us on the universal remote functions, etc. We have found Bill to be very responsive to our calls and questions and always willing to work with us to get maximum enjoyment from our system--which we do! When we are in the market again, we will call on Bill and Stereoland.

I am writing to say how very pleased we are with our surround sound system from StereoLand. Bill Soderholm was able to listen to our ideas and help us come up with a sound combination that was just perfect for our family. StereoLand offers a perfect pairing of outstanding equipment choices and wonderful customer service.
Our remodel project (adding a new great room and kitchen to an existing 1955 rambler style home), posed unique architectural challenges, and we sought out StereoLand to be involved early in the planning process. We requested of them a surround sound home theater system for DVD and VCR viewing, a crisp, clean audio system for classical CD music, and an outdoor system for patio listening. And they really delivered! Here are some reasons that made their service a standout for us.

They were willing to be involved early in our project. Bill Soderholm came on site personally to meet with our builder and cabinet maker to plan speaker placement/cabinetry design.
StereoLand's product selection is vast and very high quality. They have a very thorough knowledge of what is currently in the marketplace and of product application. We are very pleased with the quality of our speakers and components.
Bill and his staff are willing to do research to accommodate specific requests. In our case we needed a small size all white subwoofer, and they found it.
During the framing phase of construction, the wiring specialists at StereoLand arrived on time and did a very meticulous job of pre-wiring our entire system.
Even though StereoLand serves some ultra high end clients, they were also able to work within our moderate budget to achieve beautiful audio quality. They were also able to pre-wire sites for pieces to be added later, such as ceiling speakers and an under cabinet plasma screen.
StereoLand was able to accommodate our unique architectural needs and find aimable ceiling speakers to fit our "hot roof" (no attic space) asymmetric room with a 2/12 pitched ceiling.
Final installation was smooth and on time, with precise speaker adjustment and aiming of sound. The installers were very patient with instructions and made sure I could operate all basic options before leaving.
Bill's suggestion of a universal remote has proven to be immeasurably wise. Each member of the family can switch between DVD's, CD's, VCR, tuner and TV with ease. Thank you Bill! (The installer programmed the remote at final installation.)

I have been a regular customer of Stereoland for more than twenty five years moving through several generations of audio and video technology. Bill Soderholm and his staff offer good advise and counsel. They sell the best equipment at bargain prices and the customer satisfaction guarantee is better than any manufacturer or retailer puts in writing. Periodically I wander into other stores but when I'm ready to buy I always come back to Stereoland.
